Resilience at Work Training
Pressure can be beneficial. It helps us to achieve by giving us a sense of purpose. But sometimes the demands of our jobs can seem to outweigh the time and resources we have available to do them, and feeling overwhelmed can actually make us less productive – making the situation even worse.
In order to get back on top of our work we need to develop resilience. That’s the capacity to recognise when we are under too much pressure, and to take action to manage the situation.
This valuable session offers insights into how you respond to pressure, and how to cultivate your resilience to deal with it.
‘Excellent, well delivered with a knowledgeable presenter.’

The purpose of the Resilience at Work training course is to provide you with a set of tools for dealing with pressure and avoiding it turning into damaging stress.
You will develop an understanding of how pressure differs from stress, what triggers the shift towards stress, and how you can use specific techniques to maintain control when under pressure.
These techniques will contribute to your resilience – your ability to maintain your well-being, focus and productivity even when pressure mounts.
By the end of the session you will:
- Appreciate the impact of the environment on you and your approach to work
- Be able to differentiate between beneficial pressure and detrimental stress
- Recognise when you are moving into stressful operating patterns
- Recognise the impact on you when your resilience is low
- Learn techniques – both short-term and long-term – to manage pressure and improve resilience
This is a live and fully interactive training session with low delegate numbers to ensure plenty of opportunities for asking questions and discussing experiences. It is held online and facilitated by one of our expert consultants.
Using a web based interface freely available to anyone with access to the internet, delegates are able to see, hear and interact with the trainer and other participants. The programme combines elements of teaching, discussion and practical sessions.
Delegates receive an electronic course manual for reference after the programme ends.
